Definitions

• "Savant" or "Software": The AI desktop application and any related services provided by Sisukas Ltd.
• "We," "Us," "Our": Sisukas Ltd, a company incorporated in the United Kingdom.
• "You," "Your": The individual or entity using Savant.
• "License": Your right to use Savant under these terms.
• "Trial": The 30-day free trial period of Savant.

License to Use Savant

Trial License

We grant you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Savant for 30 days for evaluation purposes. After the trial period, the software will switch to read-only mode unless you purchase a Pro license.

Pro License

Upon payment of the license fee, we grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Savant, subject to these terms:

• Personal Use: You may install and use Savant on up to 3 devices that you personally own and control.
• Commercial Use: You may use Savant for commercial purposes with a Pro license.
• Backup Copies: You may make backup copies of the software for archival purposes.

What You Cannot Do

You may not:

• Redistribute: Sell, rent, lease, distribute, or sublicense Savant to others.
• Reverse Engineer: Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of Savant.
• Modify: Modify, adapt, alter, translate, or create derivative works of Savant.
• Share Licenses: Share your license key with others or use it on more than 3 devices.
• Circumvent: Remove, alter, or circumvent any license validation or copy protection mechanisms.
• Illegal Use: Use Savant for any illegal, harmful, or unethical purposes.

Software Updates and Upgrades

Included Updates

Your Pro license includes all version 1.x updates at no additional cost. These include:

• Bug fixes and security patches
• Performance improvements
• New features within the v1.x product line
• Compatibility updates

Major Version Upgrades

Major version upgrades (e.g., v2.0) are separate products and may require additional payment. However, existing customers will receive significant discounts on major upgrades.

Support Services

Included Support

Pro license holders receive:

• 1 Year Premium Support: Email support with response within 2 business days
• Lifetime Community Support: Access to documentation, forums, and knowledge base

Support Renewal

After the first year, premium email support can be renewed for $24/year. Community support remains available at no cost.

Payment Terms

Pricing

Savant Pro is available for a one-time payment of $79 USD. Prices may change, but existing customers are not affected by price increases.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment information on our servers.

Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee:

• Request a refund within 30 days of purchase
• Contact us at support@usesavant.com with your license key
• We'll process your refund within 5-10 business days
• You may keep your data, but the license will be deactivated

Your Data

Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you create or input into Savant, including:

• Your conversations with AI models
• Projects and agents you create
• Any files or documents you work with

Data Storage

Savant stores your data locally on your device. We do not access, store, or process your conversations or project data on our servers.

API Keys

Your API keys for third-party services (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) are stored securely in your system keychain and are never transmitted to our servers.

Third-Party Services

Savant integrates with third-party AI services like OpenAI and Anthropic. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or policies of these third-party services.

Disclaimers and Limitations

Software Warranty

Savant is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive to provide reliable software, we cannot guarantee that Savant will be error-free or uninterrupted.

AI-Generated Content

Savant facilitates communication with AI models, but we are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated content. You are responsible for verifying and evaluating all AI outputs.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sisukas Ltd's liability for any damages arising from your use of Savant is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Savant responsibly and lawfully. You may not use Savant to:

• Create, distribute, or facilitate harmful, illegal, or malicious content
• Violate the terms of service of integrated AI providers
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Engage in activities that could harm our systems or other users

Termination

Termination by You

You may stop using Savant at any time. Your license will remain valid unless you request a refund within the 30-day window.

Termination by Us

We may terminate your license if you:

• Violate these terms of service
• Use Savant for illegal or harmful purposes
• Attempt to circumvent license restrictions

In case of termination for violation, no refund will be provided.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do:

• We'll post the updated terms on our website
• We'll update the "Last updated" date
• For material changes, we'll notify you via email
• Continued use of Savant after changes constitutes acceptance

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
